In case you missed my announcement on twitter, my wife and I had a baby! I’m hoping that little Selma becomes the cheapest baby on the block. I’m already teaching her about the joys of frugality. I’m pretty sure its sinking in. If you’ve been wondering, where are the awesome money saving posts? Is Joel just getting lazy on me? Well, sort of, but I’ve also been totally consumed and wrapped up in babyland – it’s a real place.
Having this itty bitty munchkin in our lives is cooler than finding a ten dollar bill as you walk a couple of extra blocks to your destination because you avoided paying for parking. She’s awesome. We couldn’t be happier. We also couldn’t be more thankful that both baby and mom are 100% healthy. As we found out in a recent Credit Karma survey, health is more important than money.
So without further adieu, here are a few pics of my beautiful little lady and our growing little family. I can’t stop playing with this cute little bundle but I promise I’ll get back to writing more money-saving advice very soon. In case you are wondering, yes, I’m definitely saving money on baby stuff in awesome ways. I’ll have an article on that soon too.
Congratulations!
Thanks James.
Congratulations Joel! Your baby is the cutest. Can’t wait until you can get back to saving us money.
Thanks Andy! Don’t worry, I’ll be posting on Friday and Monday.
Huge congratulations Joel! Selma is so cute! Thanks for posting the pictures.
I’m definitely looking forward to any and all future posts on saving money on all things baby as this is something in my near future.
Thanks Brian. I kind of think she’s the cutest thing ever.
One quick tip. Live near family. The free babysitting, although she’s too young for us to really take advantage of yet, is going to be phenomenal.
Check. Already done. Thanks for the tip. Keep ’em coming.
Congrats Joel!
Thanks Deacon!
